Maldon & Dengie Ramblers

This is Maldon & Dengie Ramblers, one of twenty Ramblers groups in Essex.

M&D schedule a regular range of walks, led by members and guest leaders from other Ramblers groups, including...
  • Five to Seven mile walks on Sunday mornings.
  • Five to six mile walks on Tuesday mornings.
  • Ten to twelve mile walks also on Tuesdays which are at a slightly faster pace and include a pub or packed lunch.
  • Three to four mile walks on Thursday evenings between May and August.
  • Occasional walks outside our normal walking area.
Visitors are welcome to join any of the walks - see Programme.

Our programme also includes a number events - for example in the year prior to the Covid 19 Pandemic we held a quiz, an all day walk in Suffolk, a Cloverleaf walk (3 walks of 4, 5 and 6 miles starting at the same point including Breakfast and Lunch. See Cloverleaf for pictures and reports), a Strawberry cream Tea walk, a Mince pie walk, our 20th Anniversary Bar B Q and a New Year Lunch - see Events page for forthcoming activities.

We also have a Footpath working Group which is open to any member which carries out repairs and improvements to local Footpaths - See Footpath working group on the Gallery Tab.
