Purleigh Cloverleaf walk from the Bell Pub 07/08/2018
Thanks to all for attending and Iain and Dennis who led for making this walk trial a success on a very hot August day, temperatures of over 30 degrees centigrade made walking more difficult.
The First section starting at 08:00 attracted 13 walkers for a walk of slightly over 4 miles with a Breakfast at the Bell to Finish.
For the Second section of 6 to 7 miles a few walkers dropped out and more joined to make a total of 15, this was the hottest part of the day and the return to the Bell very welcome for a well earned drink and Lunch.
After Lunch the final section was completed by 6 walkers, 5 of whom had walked all 3 sections totalling 15 to 16 miles Well done, you know who you are.
The opinion by all who took part in this day was that it was a good format and all would like it to be repeated, Next years is already being discussed, don't miss it.
