April 29th John's 100th (Walk not Birthday)
On a hot and sunny Tuesday 29th April, John Mennie led his 100th walk for the club.
Thank you and congratulations, John.
The club depends on its members who lead walks. Without them we wouldn't have a programme. But leading a hundred walks is truly exceptional.
As has been said, in leading those walks John really has walked five hundred miles, and he's probably walked five hundred more.
Here are a couple of photos from the lunch stop, when we thanked John and presented him with a club award.
And of course looking forward to the next hundred....."
